School family and we have full confidence that you will do your part to make us proud.
You are about to begin your secondary school education. You will now have different teachers for different subjects
and the curriculum will build on what you already know from your previous classes at the primary level. There may
be times you face challenges as the School Year progresses and we have our Student Support Services available to
You have a great opportunity before you and I trust that with your Parents/Guardians and Teachers support you will
grasp every chance you have to learn and expand your knowledge.

wear their uniform correctly and proudly. Students are punctual and prepared for class daily with assignments and

and so much more to add to the list of possibilities open to you starting today.
Students you will be guided by teachers who have you best interests at heart, who will help you as
best as they can to reach your full potential. Your Parents and Guardians roles will now be to ensure
that you are supervised at home and assist you with managing your time well.
Parents/Guardians, I know with us working together, this school year can be one of growth
and new positive experiences for all our children as they begin their first year at Couva West
